About Me

“As you age, you become invisible.”

Sadly, this is not an uncommon perception among many seniors in our society today. I know this firsthand. After my mom passed away, I stepped in to be a caretaker for my dad. The transition from his home to assisted living was very difficult, as he worked through the process of what to do with so many of his life's possessions that he couldn’t take to his new residence.

Giving up precious items, ensuring they went to those who would appreciate them, deciding where to donate other items was a long process. As I helped my dad, I chose to make sure he was seen and heard in the decisions that were being made. I did not want the decisions to be made for him and without his input.

This experience with my father also gave me a respect and compassion for seniors, in general. I now want to devote my time to helping others and ensure they don’t feel invisible, but instead, feel validated. I love serving those who feel overwhelmed with clutter or stressed with the thought of moving. I love seeing the relief on client’s faces when an organization project or move is complete!
